Bronwyn Tieleman
I completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, with a focus on coastal geography and marine ecology. Some highlights of the past few years have included using the Bay of Fundy as a classroom to learn and teach, using scuba diving and snorkelling for underwater research, and applying geospatial data to study places I lived in and loved.
Continuing on the path I started on in university, I am interested in the ecological, physical, and cultural attributes of coastlines across large spatial scales, and using geospatial data in conjunction with community-engaged efforts to better understand and protect coastal ecosystems and communities. I am so happy to be part of a team at SeaChange that does work aligned with my interests, and grateful for the inspiration it gives me to continue learning.
I am now calling BC home, and when I’m not working I’m feeding my passions of being in the ocean, playing in the snow, and sitting inside by a fire with friends and live music on the cold dark days.
